I am Meg. I am a web designer turned SEO nerd, and I love helping businesses get more clients.
I started my career as a web designer. I worked for a boutique ad agency in the Washington, DC suburbs, and our clients ranged from the Motely Fool, to Ringling Bros. Circus to a luxury outdoor furniture brand.
Fast forward to having 3 boys in 18 months (2 adopted from Uganda, 1 biological). Yes it was a crazy time.
I left my job at the agency and began to dabble in freelance web design for other women who had a career and were starting a side hustle from home.
It wasn’t long before I realized that a beautiful site + a product or service doesn’t equal much with out traffic.
That was 2015. I started to learn about SEO and Analytics and Marketing and Selling Online - and have been helping clients ever since as the CEO and Founder of Clapping Dog Media (do you get it? this substack is called Applause, Clapping Dog Media)
